(I) Customized Products
For custom products such as shaped components, plates, and tubes made using hot press molding, compression molding, CNC sheet cutting, tube rolling, and extrusion processes, please provide the following product information:
1.Dimensional information: Please provide CAD drawings, 3D drawings, accurate dimensions, and precision requirements.
2.Product application: Please describe how the product will be used so that we can develop better solutions.
3.Performance requirements: Please specify tensile strength, compressive strength, product weight, etc. This will help us optimize material combinations, process selection, cost control, and laminate structure design.
4.Testing requirements: Please specify the tests and standards the product must pass, such as salt spray test, tensile test, impact test, bending test, etc. However, product testing is the customer's responsibility.
5.Appearance requirements:
a. Pattern selection: Plain weave, twill weave, forged carbon fiber, or other.
b. Surface material: Carbon fiber, carbon fiber SMC, electroplated fiberglass, carbon fiber/aramid blend.
c. Surface pattern neatness: Compression molding may result in fabric distortion, making it difficult to guarantee a perfectly aligned pattern.
d. Coating effect: Glossy or matte finishes are available, but glossy coatings may produce pinholes, especially in compression-molded products.
e. Coating material performance: Please specify requirements for hardness, flexibility, adhesion, UV resistance, etc.
6.Mold fees: Custom products require mold fees. For large orders, we are willing to discuss win-win solutions to lower customer costs.
7.Delivery time: Please provide the desired delivery date. Production lead times for customized products depend on product complexity, process requirements, mold lead time, order quantity, and our production status. The actual delivery time will be determined based on the specific situation.
(II)Standard Products
For Galaxys International's standard products such as carbon fiber plates, sheets, tubes, and pultruded profiles, please inform us of your specific needs and requirements:
1. Pultruded Profiles
a. Dimensional accuracy requirements: If used for telescoping poles, please specify outer diameter and inner diameter accuracy requirements.
b. Straightness requirements: It is difficult to guarantee straightness for small extruded profiles.
c. Temperature and corrosion resistance requirements: For standard production, we use vinyl ester resin epoxy resin is available for special requirements, but production depends on order quantity and current production order saturation.
d. Length requirements: The standard length is 1m, but we can produce custom lengths according to customer requirements. Theoretically, extruded profiles can be infinitely long, but packaging and transportation issues must be considered.
e. Circumferential pressure bearing capacity: Apart from solid profiles, other profiles have a lower circumferential pressure bearing capacity and are prone to bursting, not as strong as carbon fiber tubes in terms of circumferential compressive strength.
f. Material selection: Carbon fiber or fiberglass.
2. Carbon Fiber Plates
a. Plate thickness: Standard thicknesses range from 0.5mm to 5mm, increasing by 0.5mm increments. Custom thicknesses are also available upon request.
b. Thickness tolerance: Standard production thickness tolerance is +/- 0.1 - 0.2mm, with special requirements controlled within +/- 0.05mm.
c. Surface material: Options include carbon fiber, forged carbon fiber, electroplated fiberglass, and carbon fiber + fiberglass materials.
d. Surface pattern: Plain weave, twill weave, forged carbon fiber, etc., are available.
e. Surface effect: Glossy, satin, matte finishes are available.
f. Structural requirements: Plate interior unidirectional carbon fiber layers have 0°/90° and 0°/90°/45° options. If torsional resistance is required, choose the 0°/90°/45° structure, but it may affect the flatness of the plate.
g. Plate application: For special requirements such as improved fatigue resistance, interlaminar shear, corrosion resistance, and electrical conductivity, high-modulus carbon fiber materials, improved carbon fiber conductivity, and altered resin formulations can be selected. However, the plate cost will increase, and prices will vary based on market conditions.
3. Carbon Fiber Tubes
a. Diameter range: We can produce tubes with diameters ranging from 3mm to 1000mm.
b. Dimensional tolerance: Standard tube outer diameter, inner diameter, and length tolerances are approximately +/- 0.05mm – 0.1 mm.
c. Tube length: We can produce tubes with lengths up to 3m or shorter.
d. Surface material: Options include carbon fiber plain weave/twill weave, forged carbon fiber random weave, and electroplated fiberglass materials.
e. Surface effect: Glossy, satin, matte, or polished finishes are available.
f. Performance requirements: Our standard plate interior structure is 0°/90°. To increase bending strength, wall thickness can be increased; to improve torsional resistance, the unidirectional fabric's interior needs to add a 45° directional layer, but this will increase tube weight and cost.
g. Tube application: For special-purpose tubes, we can choose high-modulus carbon fiber materials, which will increase costs accordingly, and prices will vary based on market conditions.
